PATRIA LEARNS Agency Submitted Report on Permits for Emergency Import of Medical Devices

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices of BiH received the conclusion of the Provisional Investigative Commission for determining the situation in judicial institutions, which requests this Agency to submit data on permits issued for the emergency import of medical devices and medicines, from March 15 this year, with individual amounts, names of suppliers and equipment, as well as end-users and other data, according to a document that Patria had access to.

 

"Acting on your request, we are submitting the table with all the requested information concerning the emergency import of medical devices. We hereby inform you that, in accordance with Article 66, Paragraph (3) of the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices, the competent entity ministries of health and the Department of Health of Brčko District are responsible for approving the import of medicines that have not received marketing authorization, so-called emergency import of medicines," the Agency's response states.
