Patria with parents of murdered children of Sarajevo: Tears, sobs, they have no strength to look at the face of the executioner

At the premises of the Institute for Research of Crimes against Humanity and International Law in Sarajevo, members of the Association of Parents of Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo are following events from the Hague courtroom.

The criminal Radovan Karadžić, responsible for the death of their children, is being sentenced today, reports a reporter from the Patria news agency.

Tears, sobs, barely a spoken word. They look very little at the large TV screen. Their gaze turns more often to the pictures of their murdered children. They listen to the reading of the verdict. They have no strength, they say, to look at the face of that executioner.

They are waiting for the moment to hear the verdict for the criminal under whose command more than 1,600 children were killed in Sarajevo.
