Patria has never misled the public: Čampara's wish granted, he will be Minister of Police

Less than a month ago, the current Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo, Aljoša Čampara, tried to clumsily deny the information published by the Patria news agency that he wanted the position of Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Federation of BiH for himself.

Today, this Patria news has been definitively confirmed, proving that Čampara has been ardently seeking a comfortable chair from which he could have influence and manage things all along.

At the time he was planning, through Sead Selman, to push for Dragan Lukač to be reappointed as Director of the FUP, Čampara was interested in the position of Vice President of the Federation of BiH or Minister of Justice.

However, as the plan with Lukač failed due to illegal appointment attempts under political pressure, the Deputy President of SDA, Bakir Izetbegović, wanted to appease him and proposed him for the Director of OSA.

Nevertheless, the law is clear. Čampara, who has never officially been in police structures, cannot hold that position.

Therefore, in the end, he opted for what Patria had already written about on several occasions: Minister of Federal Police.

We remind you of a part of the text from a month ago when Čampara tried to mislead the public by claiming that Patria was spreading disinformation about him.

- Information is being spread from certain circles that the Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo, Aljoša Čampara, is also interested in this function, but it appears to be frivolous speculation. These same circles have previously "appointed" Čampara as Minister of Justice, Minister of Internal Affairs, and Vice President of the Federation of BiH, so soon there may be no positions left to which the Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo is being "pushed" without his knowledge - it was written at the time, among other things.

It seems that today, at the SDA Cadre Commission, he was proposed as Minister of Police without his knowledge.

From this position, his job of settling scores with all political opponents will be greatly facilitated, both those he needs to get rid of before the SDA Congress on May 26, and those who have been a thorn in his side for a long time.

Furthermore, if a suitable candidate manages to secure the position of FUP Director, fabricated cases, false criminal charges, and purges will be rampant.

Interestingly, Aljoša Čampara became a member of SDA in 2013, when he was also proposed as Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo. At that time, he quickly became a member of the Municipal Organization Centar and then entered the inner leadership of the SDA Sarajevo Cantonal Board, led by his cousin Denis Zvizdić.

His path to the top was not at all thorny. In a very short time, he entered the inner circle of the chosen few who decide on personnel solutions and brand enemies in Sarajevo cafes. During the election campaign, he was inseparable from the Izetbegović family, and after the elections, he became Bakir Izetbegović's key operative, taking care of the media and the appointment of obedient individuals to positions.
