Pašović one of the speakers at the opening of the Silk Road Festival in Shanghai

Haris Pašović, director of the East West Center Sarajevo, has been invited to China's largest art festival in Shanghai to speak at the opening of the "Silk Road" Forum, which begins on October 20, reports Patria agency.

The new Chinese initiative "Silk Road" connects 60 countries economically, culturally, and educationally. The "Silk Road" is considered one of the most significant global projects of this century.

In addition to Pašović, Bob Wilson, a legendary American director, Valeriy Shardin, director of the largest Russian theater festival in Moscow, and Catherine Wang, president of the Shanghai festival, will also speak at the Forum's opening.

Pašović will also be the keynote speaker for the Round Table on artistic education in the "Silk Road" countries, which include Bosnia and Herzegovina. The invitation to participate in the opening of these significant global forums is another great recognition for the East West Center Sarajevo and the international culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
