Parliament of BiH: RS deputies boycott session due to revision of the verdict

A session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been scheduled for tomorrow in Sarajevo. However, as things stand now, representatives of parties from the Republika Srpska will boycott the session.

Mladen Bosić (SDS), deputy chairman of the House of Representatives to Šefik Džaferović, today requested a postponement of the session.

Specifically, Bosić requested at the session of the Collegium of the House of Representatives that the session of that house scheduled for tomorrow be postponed until an official decision is made on whether to initiate a revision of the verdict in the lawsuit filed by BiH against Serbia.

He called the current situation a constitutional crisis, stating that institutions are considered to be acting unconstitutionally, given that the decision on the revision is being made by individuals, not institutions.

Džaferović confirmed today that Bosić's initiative was rejected and that the session will be held. Representatives of parties from the Republika Srpska said they would come to the Parliament building but would not attend the session.
