(Patria) - Pope Leo XIV received French President Emmanuel Macron in audience on Friday, April 10, who then met with Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin accompanied by Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations.
During the cordial discussions in the Secretariat of State, good relations between the Holy See and France were mentioned.
The talks then focused on important international issues, with an exchange of views on conflicts around the world, and hope was expressed for the restoration of peaceful coexistence through dialogue and negotiations, reports IKA citing Vatican News.
