Atocha train station in Madrid, where deadly attacks occurred on March 11, 2004, was evacuated on Friday after one person threatened to blow themselves up with explosives, but no explosives were found on them, the Spanish police announced, reports the Patria news agency.
- We have initiated the procedure we apply for terrorist threats. A man who threatened to detonate an explosive device in his backpack has been arrested. After checking, we determined that there was no explosive device, a spokesperson for the national police told AFP.
