Coronavirus pandemic can also be an opportunity for the BiH economy

(Patria) - Will the Bosnian-Herzegovinian economy survive COVID-19, how to best overcome the current crisis, how to save jobs, and get people back to work, experts Admir Čavalić, Damir Bećirović, and Faruk Hadžić will answer on May 18 during an online panel discussion organized by the Future Foundation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They will also discuss the dangers threatening the BiH economy if experts do not react in time and correctly, because we must not allow mistakes now. Because, let us remind you, COVID-19 has caused incalculable consequences for the economy of the entire world in the two months since the bans have been in effect. Thousands of jobs have been lost in Bosnia and Herzegovina alone, people's lives have stopped, and the struggle for existence has begun.

Unfortunately, the problems do not end there, and the panelists will inform us in detail about this, and they will also provide a detailed analysis of how the pandemic will affect our economy in the coming period, and what the opportunities are for businesses currently. The Future Foundation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, through its activities, strives to provide young people with education and understanding of various fields that are of exceptional importance for their further professional development. With this goal in mind, we are organizing this free online discussion on the topic 'COVID-19 Pandemic - Danger and Opportunity for the BiH Economy', which will host BiH economic experts Admir Čavalić, Damir Bećirović, and Faruk Hadžić, who know how to mitigate the negative effects on the BiH economy, the economy in general, how to save businesses and create positive changes", stated the Future Foundation in BiH.
