This rapist received 1,535 years in prison

Albert Morake (35) is a serial rapist who has been found guilty of raping 29 women and has received a total of 1,535 years in prison, by decision of the court in Johannesburg, reports the Patria News Agency.  

As many as 175 charges were filed against him - 30 for rape (because he raped one of the women twice), 41 for kidnapping, 24 for robbery, three for attempted robbery, and one for attempted murder.

Morake was found guilty on 144 counts of the indictment. For each rape, he received 30 years in prison, for each robbery 15, and 10 years for each attempted murder.

For each kidnapping, he received five years in prison, and he also received five years for illegal possession of a weapon.

South Africa will remember him as one of the worst rapists in its history. His victims welcomed the verdict with relief.
