Open Letter from Dean Korajlić Regarding the Terrorist Attack in Paris

The terrorist attack on the citizens of France has once again warned us that we live in a very unstable security environment and has returned us to the harsh reality that, unfortunately, terrorist actions have become the biggest threat to security, and thus a special challenge for those who professionally deal with preventing this phenomenon, but also a warning to all those who underestimate the scope of the danger that this phenomenon carries with it, reports the Patria News Agency.

Other competent bodies, institutions, and organizations are no less responsible and called upon to contribute to the fight against terrorism. When we talk about harmful human behaviors, it should be known that the more serious the consequences of these behaviors, the greater the need to detect their causes, and the more successful we are in detecting their causes, the greater the certainty of success in preventing these phenomena.

Condemning this heinous crime, the Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology and Security Studies and its Institute, as a scientific institution, place themselves at disposal to contribute to the fight against terrorism within their capacities, so that the social community is a safe environment for people's lives.

We share the pain and sympathize with the citizens of France and the families of the deceased, it is stated at the end of the open letter sent by the Dean of the Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology and Security Studies in Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Nedžad Korajlić.
