
The Mayor of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Ivo Komšić, together with the cultural and tourism attaché of the Turkish Embassy in BiH, Soner Şahin, and the director of the cultural-educational center "Konya-Sarajevo", Sanel Mušović, today opened the already traditional exhibition "Konya-Sarajevo" in Morića han, as a gift from the partner Turkish city of Konya to the City of Sarajevo and its citizens for its birthday, reports the Patria News Agency.
Thanking the friendly city of Konya for this exhibition, Mayor Komšić recalled that this was the first exhibition he opened when he took office as the head of the City two years ago.
The exhibition features over 1,000 handicrafts made by more than 120 of our fellow citizens trained in various artistic techniques: painting on silk, water, wood, and ceramics, as well as decorative embroidery and jewelry making. The choir of KUD "Baščaršija" also participated in the program, it was announced from the City Administration.
