In the Museum of the City of Zenica, as part of the "Zenica Spring" event, an exhibition of photographs titled "Zenica Then and Now" was opened today, reports the Patria News Agency.
Photographs taken in the twentieth century through the lens of the best and legendary Zenica photojournalist Hakija Lemeš, photojournalist Dado Ruvić managed to revive them in a special and comparative way.
Hakija Lemeš first touched a camera back in 1962. After founding his first photo laboratory in Zenica, he continued to achieve business success. In the seventies, he went to Germany for additional training in handling film cameras. After that, he became a photojournalist and correspondent for "Oslobođenje" and "Sportske novosti". In the eighties, he moved to the newspaper Naša Riječ, where he spent the rest of his working life.
Dado Ruvić, after three years of working at Dnevni Avaz as a photojournalist, moved to the world's largest multimedia news agency REUTERS, for which he has covered major news events in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in Southeastern Europe for the past five years. He has been involved in photography for 8 years and has several international awards and recognitions to his name.
Ruvić also presented thank-you notes today to those who helped him the most in his career and in realizing this exhibition.
