FDS Exhibition Opened: 200 Artworks Presented

An exhibition of artistic paintings by Fabrika duhana Sarajevo, classified in the “National Treasure” collection, which includes valuable works by Seid Hasanefendić, P. Tiješić, Đ. Mazalić, Bosarić, Šain, Mujezinović, Drljača, Mikulić, Šotra, and others, was opened on Monday at the Bosniak Institute, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

- Fabrika duhana Sarajevo has built its role as a philanthropist, who promotes and advances, and encourages the strengthening of the values of the common good, for decades, during which numerous works of art were created with its support, traditional values were preserved, and cultural life was enriched by a series of top events - it was announced from FDS.

Fabrika duhana Sarajevo is also investing significant funds in the preparations for the reconstruction and revitalization of one of the interesting old buildings from the Turkish period in Baščaršija (Firuz-beg's hammam), where gallery spaces will also be built for the permanent accommodation of the mentioned collection of artistic paintings.

The exhibition will be open to all art lovers until November 30.
