Exhibition of children's works opened at the Cultural Center

On the second day of the Children's Festival „Hajde svijete budi dijete“ (Let the World Be a Child), an exhibition of children's visual art works was opened in the gallery of the Cultural Center „Sarajevo“ at Jelićeva Street number 1. The works were created by attendees of the art section of the Center for Youth in Gorica, and members of the Association for Support and Assistance to Children and Parents ''Čarobna kućica'' (Magic House), reports the Patria News Agency.

In the presence of children from kindergartens from Centar and Stari Grad municipalities, Senad Bostandžić, director of the Cultural Center „Sarajevo“, stated at the opening of the exhibition that it is the result of cooperation between the Cultural Center, i.e., the Center for Youth in Gorica, and the Association „Čarobna kućica“.

Nataša Trbonja, president of the Assembly of the Association ''Čarobna kućica'', emphasized that the works were created by preschool and school-aged children who come to the association's premises daily.

– The children worked on the theme of autumn, covering everything children should know about the changes in nature that occur when this season arrives. About 20 preschool children, and three first and second-grade students from the „Safvet-beg Bašagić“ Primary School participated in creating two large panels on the given topic, explained Trbonja, while Muhidin Magoda, a second-grade student from the „Safvet-beg Bašagić“ Primary School, explained the method used to create the visual works presented at the exhibition.

The sponsor of the eighth Children's Festival „Hajde svijete budi dijete“ is the Municipality of Centar, it was announced from the Municipality of Centar.
