Communal Services Center Opened: Citizens Will Be Able to Pay Bills Without Commission at One Place

The Communal Services Center was officially opened today by the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Elmedin Konaković, Minister of Communal Economy and Infrastructure Senad Hasanspahić, and the director of Sarajevogas company Nihada Glamoč. Starting today, citizens will be able to pay heating bills for Sarajevogas and Toplane companies, as well as for Rad and Vodovod i kanalizacija, at one place without commission.

“In the next year, 2018, we plan to open several more communal centers in the municipalities of Ilidža, Stari Grad, and Vogošća,” announced Minister Hasanspahić, adding that this project was financially supported by the relevant ministry.

The Communal Services Center is located at Envera Šehovića street, number 14, and it was stated that this is another way to facilitate bill payments for our fellow citizens.

“During the mandate of this government, a number of positive effects have been recorded in the communal economy sector with fewer employees, but this does not mean that we have managed to solve all the problems in this sector,” emphasized Prime Minister Konaković.

According to him, the opening of this center is just one indication that when there is a will and desire, anything is possible.

“In addition to simplifying bill payment procedures, administrative processes can also be resolved and accelerated here. In this way, investors will be supported, and new facilities will be enabled to open without additional loss of time,” said Prime Minister Konaković.

Director Glamoč explained that in addition to paying for communal services, it is planned for this center to be connected with local communities in the coming period, so that citizens do not have to go from one payment point to another.

 

The companies “Tržnice”, “Pokop”, and “Park” do not have that individual part of communal consumption, so the collection will be organized differently there.

 

The opening of the Center was also attended by the Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction, and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton Čedomir Lukić, members of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly Kemal Ademović and Eldar Čomor, the Mayor of Novo Sarajevo Municipality Nedžad Koldžo, and directors of communal companies.
