SINGER'S KIDNAPPING Search for perpetrators ongoing

(Patria) - Through a coordinated action by several police units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – including the Directorate of Criminal Police, the Service for Combating Crime and Terrorism, the Gendarmerie, SAJ, the Traffic and Border Police Directorate, and the Belgrade Police Department – the kidnapping of Daniel Kajmakoski (43) was prevented in the early morning hours in Belgrade.

The singer was reportedly kidnapped in Karađorđeva Street, tied up and forced to hand over money, after which two unknown perpetrators attempted to flee by car. The police caught up with them in the municipality of Ruma, where the vehicle was stopped and Kajmakoski was found tied up inside the car. The perpetrators managed to escape in an unknown direction.

The victim has been taken care of, and an investigation was conducted at the scene. The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade has classified the case as kidnapping, and the search for the perpetrators is still ongoing.

As previously reported by the media, the singer in question is Daniel Kajmakoski, known for winning the first season of "X Factor Adria" and representing Macedonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015.
