Sculpture of Davorin Popović to be unveiled at opening of International Festival "Grad"

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Third International Festival "Grad" will open in Sarajevo on Monday with the unveiling of a sculpture dedicated to Davorin Popović and a visit to an exhibition dedicated to Kemal Monteno.

Festival Art Director Ibrahim Spahić stated that artists and the public will celebrate Sarajevo's unique artistic community, mark jubilees in BiH's culture and heritage, and get acquainted with top ensembles from the country and the world.

"For the citizens of Sarajevo and its guests, the 'Grad' Festival is a traditional and creative hub for freedom of expression and synergy with the cultures and civilizations of the world," Spahić conveyed, as announced by the Festival Directorate.

The festival will last for four days.
