(Patria) - Legendary Sting's concert in Sarajevo, scheduled for March 19, will be postponed to autumn due to the extension of the European tour. The reason for this is the worsening epidemiological situation in some European countries, which has led to stricter coronavirus prevention measures.
"Due to the introduction of additional restrictions because of the coronavirus, the concerts within Sting's My Songs tour planned for the period from March 7 to 21 will be moved to autumn 2022," said Sting's management and announced on his official website www.sting.com.
"The new date for the Sarajevo concert will be announced at the beginning of next week, and after the date is announced, all those who wish to get a refund for their tickets can do so seven days from the announcement of the new date. We are very sorry about this, but the organization of concerts within the tour depends heavily on the complete schedule of the performers, and simply, the measures in most countries are such that it is impossible to play at full venue capacity," said Boban Milošeski, owner of the production company Avalon.
Tickets that are returned after a refund will be available again for sale to all those for whom the new concert date does not suit, given that all tickets are sold out and there is a long waiting list for them.
"We apologize to everyone, but unfortunately, we have been living in a world for a long time where not everything is in the hands of either the performers or us promoters. The most important thing is that Sting will perform in Sarajevo this year," added Milošeski.
