Father Muriz Memić: Dženan was shot in the back, the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office can no longer protect itself

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The father of the murdered young man Dženan Memić, Muriz Memić, said today in front of the building of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office that requests have been submitted for the "leader of the organized mafia to resign along with all the prosecuting prosecutors."

- So, where there are many grandmothers, the children are weak, and here the grandmother is Dalida Burzić, who dragged nine prosecutors into this proceeding. Despite the numerous pieces of evidence that the court ordered to be provided, it is difficult for me to reach the truth. This is the sixth time we are organizing these protests, and they also tried to ban them, which is why we put up yellow ribbons, because we are second-class citizens. And despite that, I will prove to them that they can be dealt with. They were supposed to submit 200 pieces of evidence, they submitted about 140, they are still hiding evidence. My greatest consolation is that this is my fight and the fight of my lawyer to obtain this evidence. I am glad that the citizens also realize that there is evidence, which we have not missed from the beginning. We have been saying from the beginning that Dženan was murdered - said Memić. 

He said that a few days ago he was at the scene and knows that Dženan was killed.

-  Alisa knows, Alisa does not have amnesia. Five doctors said she does not, and one compliant one said she does. Alisa also says in her statements that the car did not hit them, and she will have to tell the truth sooner or later. I don't know why the Prosecutor's Office stopped, why they tried to protect Alisa, but they can no longer protect even themselves. They must answer for this, and criminally.

Memić claims that the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, led by Dalida Burzić, also deceived the Constitutional Court because they did not give them all the evidence.

- I am not the only one saying that Dženan Memić was murdered, they conducted an investigation into a murder, which is evident from their evidence, the autopsy conclusion is that Dženan was murdered. This was also testified by Senad Mešić in court, he said he was told to write that Dženan Memić was murdered. I have that first finding, why Hamza Žujo adjusted that finding six times I don't know, he is a coward. I repeat again, let Dalida say the first name, I will give the last name of the killer. I will not stop, this is a fight - said Memić, adding that Dženan was murdered treacherously from behind. 

The lawyer for the Memić family, Ifet Feraget, said today during the protest in front of the building of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office that "all the new evidence fully supports my spoken word, and especially every word spoken in public by Mr. Muriz Memić."

- After two years, and having read the Constitutional Court's decision again, I ask myself why the Constitutional Court allowed itself to be disavowed by the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office. The Constitutional Court strictly demanded that the entire case file be submitted to it. Why did the Constitutional Court abandon that request and agree to have evidence submitted a la carte according to the choice of this Prosecutor's Office, that is the question we are waiting for an answer to.

Feraget said they expect the proceedings against the individuals involved in the case to be concluded, after which criminal charges will follow, including to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

- This is a case that has disturbed the public and harmed the interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Federal Prosecutor's Office supervised the work of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in a way I find incomprehensible. All existing evidence supports the claim that Dženan Memić was murdered in a treacherous manner. This is a criminal offense for which the Criminal Code prescribes a sentence of 45 years in prison. Those who conspired to help the murderers avoid facing justice have committed the criminal offense of organized crime, and for that criminal offense, 45 years in prison is also prescribed - said Feraget. 

He also added that someone "quite openly and clearly blocked the system and allowed certain people to conduct the investigation in a way that is not allowed." Feraget said that the chief prosecutor, Dalida Burzić, wanted to intimidate him with three complaints she filed against him.
