Suspect in the murder of Sarajevo police officers Aleksandar Macan surrendered to the KS Prosecutor's Office

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Aleksandar Macan, the primary suspect in the murder of Sarajevo police officers Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović on October 26, 2018, arrived at the KS Prosecutor's Office on Thursday and surrendered to the acting prosecutors, who informed SIPA, which deprived him of his liberty and took him to the detention unit, it was confirmed for Patria.

He will be questioned by the acting prosecutors of the KS Prosecutor's Office.

Macan was unavailable to the BiH judiciary because he left BiH some time ago.

An international warrant was issued for him, and he was ordered into custody.

In early November, searches were carried out at several locations in East Sarajevo and Pale, but Macan was not found.

Macan is the son-in-law of Milomir Savčić, who is accused of genocide and also fled BiH to Serbia.
