Suspects in the murder of police officer Radenko Bašić handed over to the RS Prosecutor's Office

(Patria) - Police officers of the Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska tonight, along with a Report on the committed criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder" committed against police officer Radenko Bašić, handed over two individuals with initials A.M. and I.R. to the Republican Public Prosecutor's Office of Republika Srpska, to the Special Department for Combating Corruption, Organized and the Most Serious Forms of Economic Crime.

Individuals A.M. and I.R. were deprived of their liberty on March 26-27, as part of an investigation initiated on March 21 this year, with the aim of identifying, clarifying, and proving the organizer, accomplices, and direct perpetrator of the said criminal offense.

Let us remind you, the report also includes individual D.R., who was identified as the organizer and instigator of the criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder", and who was apprehended by police officers of the Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime on March 23, 2022, in Prijedor. This individual was remanded in custody by the Court of BiH on March 24, 2022, at the proposal of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

An extensive investigation is still ongoing in cooperation with the competent prosecutor's offices.
