(Patria) - Mirza Duran, the suspect in the murder of a 60-year-old woman in the Sarajevo settlement of Ciglane, has been handed over to the jurisdiction of the KS Prosecutor's Office, writes Faktor.ba.
He will be detained at the Prosecutor's Office for 24 hours, and within that legal period, the acting prosecutor will decide on further measures against the suspect.
Duran was found and arrested in the Centar municipality by members of the Department for Violent Crimes, Sexual Offenses, and War Crimes of the KS Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Administration.
"The conducted investigation in the apartment on Husrefa Redžića Street determined that the victim had injuries inflicted by a cold weapon to the neck area.
The duty prosecutor of the KS Prosecutor's Office has ordered numerous expert examinations and other evidence-gathering activities to fully clarify all circumstances of this murder offense," the KS Ministry of Internal Affairs announced earlier.
