Suspect in serious traffic accident in Sarajevo Armin Berberović handed over to KS Prosecutor's Office

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Armin Berberović, suspected of a serious criminal offense against public traffic safety, has been handed over to the jurisdiction of the KS Prosecutor's Office.

Berberović will be detained for 24 hours, and within this legal period, he will be interviewed by the acting prosecutor, who will decide on further measures against the suspect.

Let us remind you, one girl died and two were seriously injured in a traffic accident that occurred late last night in the center of Sarajevo.

As the police stated in their report, the accident happened last night around 11:30 PM on the roadway at the intersection of Maršala Tita and Dolina streets, Centar Sarajevo municipality.

At that time, a passenger motor vehicle of the brand "Mercedes", driven by driver B.A. (1996) from Sarajevo, hit and knocked pedestrians S.A. (1998) from Sarajevo, S.A. (1997) and S.E. (2002) from Ilidža onto the roadway.

In this serious accident, pedestrian S.A. died at the scene, S.A. sustained serious bodily injuries dangerous to life, while S.E. sustained serious bodily injuries. Medical assistance was provided to the injured at the Intensive Care Unit of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo.

A little later, at 2:30 AM, police officers from the Uniformed Police Sector arrested B.A. from Sarajevo on suspicion of committing serious criminal offenses against traffic safety.
