Osman Abdulaziz Kekić, suspected of fighting in Syria, has been extradited from Sweden and will appear before the BiH Court at the end of the week, reports the Patria News Agency.
The BiH Court told the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIRN BiH) that Kekić was extradited after his arrest in the Swedish city of Malmö on June 16 this year, and that he will appear before judges on Friday.
"A hearing is scheduled for Friday on the proposal of the BiH Prosecutor's Office to impose restrictive measures after the suspect Kekić was extradited from Sweden, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of organizing a terrorist group," the BiH Court stated.
Police in the Swedish city of Malmö arrested Kekić on June 16, after he applied for asylum in that country.
Kekić was arrested twice in BiH - the first time in 2010 for spreading national, religious, and racial hatred and intolerance, and in February this year for being present on the Syrian battlefield.
