Convicted pedophile hit a female police officer and escaped through the window of the Basic Court in Banja Luka

(Patria) - Ivica M. from Kakanj, accused of severe child abuse, escaped today from the premises of the Basic Court in Banja Luka after a verdict was delivered.

Director of the RS Court Police Željko Dragojević stated that the convicted pedophile did this after the verdict was delivered and after he was taken to the detention room.

"All available forces of the Court Police are in the field, as well as members of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs," said Dragojević.

N1 reports that the convicted man hit a female court police officer and escaped through the Court's window.

The criminal offense for which the aforementioned man from Kakanj was convicted today was committed in the area of Banja Luka, and he was arrested in Germany after being on the run for some time.

The District Public Prosecutor's Office of Banja Luka filed an indictment against him for the criminal offense of sexual intercourse with a child under 15 years of age. He was accused of abusing his 9-year-old granddaughter, and the indictment was confirmed by the Basic Court in Banja Luka.
