Harsh Reactions to This Morning's Events: Fascist Orgies in the City of Mostar!

The citizens' association „Mostarski rođeni“ issued a press release regarding this morning's vandalism in the city on the Neretva, which the Patria news agency transmits in full.

-This morning around 5 a.m., a group of young men, or as they like to call themselves lately "a group of enthusiasts," decided to heroically set out on a campaign against unarmed cafes, cafe gardens, UNESCO plaques, the stone that says "Don't Forget," and similar warlike items and objects.

The same group of idiots who took it upon themselves to call themselves enthusiasts, a few days ago "gave their city for Easter" a large chessboard that symbolizes something, what exactly is unclear to anyone, because we did not find that type of chessboard in the records.

We have no doubt that history will be invented for it after this statement. We would also like to draw the public's attention to the fact that there will be more such outings of heroes, because we have every right to believe that this incident, as well as the one with the red and white squares on Planinica, was paid for by political elites.

We believe this because we are convinced that this state of lawlessness, in which budget money is spent uncontrollably, suits one, two, and three sides. Our only sides are FK Velež and the city of Mostar. At this moment, we want ELECTIONS TO BE HELD, because we believe that our club primarily needs a normally organized city, with clearly defined responsibilities to take care of the second greatest symbol of the city, which they have dragged to the bottom, and that is today FK Velež. We also appeal not to fall for the provocations that are being set up to divert attention from holding the elections. Let's be smart! Let's be Mostar residents!

P.S. We leave all the shame for what is happening in our city to the City Administration, which is unable to protect what the whole world has recognized as a cultural monument.

We demand the identification of the perpetrators and criminal prosecution of the aforementioned feeble-minded enthusiasts. Given that we know how things work in our city (because this is not the first time such things have happened - bombings, mining of monuments, battles on the boulevard, etc.), we promise to do everything in our power to find the perpetrators and publicly call them out and show them to all nations and faiths.

Such idiots certainly deserve it. Once again, we congratulate them on the courage shown, and we tell them that there will be bridges as long as there is Mostar, and that such people will walk on them only in the early morning hours, drunk, drugged, and paid.

We call on city structures to finally start taking care of their property, and police authorities to finally start doing their job and once and for all expose the faces for whom this is not the first time committing such acts, bearing in mind that the Old Town has video surveillance, to arrest those for whom urbicide is a favorite activity, and for the first time in 20 years to justify the funds we set aside from our incomes for them, the statement of the citizens' association Mostarski rođeni reads.
