Sharp Reaction: HDZ BiH Criticizes 'Historic Serb-Bosniak Agreement from a Pub' and Calls Out Wigemark

HDZ BiH in its today's statement, as they stated, „regarding the alleged historic Serb-Bosniak agreement on all open issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina, states that HDZ was informed yesterday late Sunday afternoon through the media that in some pub in the Serbian part of Sarajevo, under the high patronage of Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, with an abundance of statesmanlike wisdom and responsibility, a 'historic Serb-Bosniak agreement' was reached on the European future of Bosnia and Herzegovina,“ reports the Patria news agency.

 

There, allegedly, „representatives“ of the Bosniak and Serbian entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina agreed that from today nothing in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be the same.

Welcoming the efforts and desire to discuss and agree on all important issues for the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its peoples and citizens, it remains unclear who, in what capacity and on whose behalf made, and as the media reported, concluded some kind of agreement.

Did the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH do this on behalf of the Presidency of BiH, without the knowledge and especially without the consent of the other two members of the Presidency of BiH?

Did he do it only on behalf of his party? Or did he do it in his personal capacity?

Did the president of only the Serbian entity do this on behalf of only his entity, on behalf of only his party, or perhaps only in his personal capacity?

Is this an agreement of two against a third and what chance does it have as such?

Who is even bound by a piece of paper with someone's four signatures and which institution of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina will even accept it?

What about the representatives of the majority in the Presidency of BiH and the Council of Ministers of BiH and how is it supposed to be implemented without them?

There are many questions that still await answers, especially given that the alleged agreement on the European path was concluded by those who have so far obstructed any progress on the European and Euro-Atlantic path of BiH.

When an agreement on the European path of BiH is made with the main obstructionists of that process and without the former locomotive and main leader on that path, the intentions of the organizers cannot be honest. They do not even want any progress.

This agreement seems to have been made only to block any positive step forward for Bosnia and Herzegovina in any field, leading to uncertainty.

It is still unclear what the role of the special European representative is in this charade.

In any case, we are left to state that any agreements of two against and without a third party in BiH have never brought any progress, and especially have not brought good to anyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The fact that Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina, unlike the participants in this charade, do not have their own entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, does not mean that without their legal and legitimate representatives, any agreements can or should be made in BiH and related to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Attempts to make agreements without Croats to their detriment are not well-intentioned towards anyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and especially towards Croats, and as such have no chance of resulting in any positive effects.

We call on all those who think they are the exclusive owners of Bosnia and Herzegovina to return to reality as soon as possible and to understand and accept that all agreements without Croats are just dead letters on paper, states the HDZ BiH statement.
