LEFT EMPTY-HANDED Sarajevo Canton Police raided a well-known catering facility, nothing suspicious found

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton conducted planned activities during the past night with the aim of improving and enhancing the security situation.

Between 11:00 PM and 02:00 AM, a raid was carried out at the catering facility "Hotel Heco Plus" with accompanying facilities, on Džemala Bijedića bb street, Ilidža municipality. During the operation, 325 people present in the facility were identified and checked.

In addition to the tasks and duties of the police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, inspectors from the Federal Tax Administration and the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs of Sarajevo Canton also participated in this activity. Due to the irregularities found, they took measures and actions within their jurisdiction, imposing monetary and other sanctions.

During the execution of this tactical-police operation, no wanted persons, narcotics, weapons, explosive devices, or other items whose possession or carrying is contrary to the law were found.

In accordance with the planned activities of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Administration, police officers will continue to implement measures and actions within their jurisdiction with the aim of preventing criminal offenses and misdemeanors.
