Osmanović organizes a donor conference for demining

Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Adil Osmanović spoke today in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH Petar Ivancov, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Ivancov said that the cooperation between the Russian Federation and Bosnia and Herzegovina so far has mainly taken place in the fields of science, culture, and education. He advocated for establishing cooperation in other areas as well, and for equal representation of Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH in relations with Russia.

Ivancov particularly emphasized the readiness of the Russian Federation to assist in the demining process in BiH, pointing out that Russian experts have extensive experience and can contribute to this important work.

Minister Adil Osmanović emphasized the readiness of the Ministry of Civil Affairs to improve cooperation in all areas within the ministry's jurisdiction. He informed his interlocutor about the intention to hold a donor conference for demining, where he also expects the support of Russian donors.
