Osmanović: Coalition "Domovina" has been deceived

Adil Osmanović, the newly elected deputy in the National Assembly of the RS, said at today's constitutive session of the NSRS that the coalition "Domovina" feels cheated, because chairman Ilija Stevančević is ignoring numerous violations of the rules of procedure, reports the Patria news agency.

- In your introduction, you conveyed how we agreed on everything in the cabinet of Igor Radojičić, and we noted that the Commission for Appointments has nine members and that the ninth member should be filled by the SP, NDP and the coalition "Domovina". At Radojičić's proposal, we noted that it is best to appoint eight of them at this session, and at some next session choose another three so that everyone is represented - says Osmanović. He added that he cannot shake the impression that Stevančević has taken a partisan stance in all of this.

- We from the coalition Domovina feel deceived because we adhered to the rules of procedure. We tell the Socialist Party that it is not fair, because that seat does not belong to them if we adhere to the election results, then it belongs to the coalition Domovina. We have been put in a hopeless situation, and we adhered to the agreement. I see no reason why the ninth member should be elected today unless someone wants to avoid being outvoted. The only correct thing is that articles of the rules of procedure have been violated and that the proposal of the Socialist Party is not in accordance with the rules of procedure - added Osmanović.

SP deputy Slobodan Protić proposed Nedeljko Milaković for the ninth member of the Commission for Elections and Appointments, to which deputies reacted, stating that there had been a violation of the parliamentary rules of procedure.
