Osmanović and Čičić paid tribute to fallen members of HVO Sarajevo and the Kralj Tvrtko Brigade

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Minister for Veterans' Affairs of Sarajevo Canton Omer Osmanović and the Minister of Finance attended the laying of wreaths at the "Sveti Josip" Cemetery in Sarajevo today, paying tribute to all fallen and deceased defenders of HVO Sarajevo and the Croatian Brigade "Kralj Tvrtko".

This activity, along with the traditional lighting of candles, was organized on the occasion of the commemoration of the holidays "All Saints' Day" and "All Souls' Day". Minister Osmanović, once again, emphasized the importance of nurturing a culture of remembrance.

"Today, we pay tribute to all members of the HVO and the Croatian Brigade 'Kralj Tvrtko', who defended our homeland, as part of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, thus laying down their lives in the foundations of this country. The military-political organization of HVO Sarajevo, founded within the framework of the Croatian Economic Association of BiH, at the very beginning of the aggression against our country, stood on the ramparts of Sarajevo and the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with other armed forces, thus making their contribution to the ultimate goal, a unified homeland," emphasized Minister Osmanović.

The tribute was paid by representatives of the Association of Organizers of Resistance, Retired and Demobilized Defenders of HVO Sarajevo.
