The weapons intended to be used for criminal acts for which 20 arrested Serbian citizens are suspected in Montenegro have not been found, reports the Podgorica portal Vijesti, according to the news agency Patria.
The police and prosecution have not announced which political party the arrested Serbian citizens, who allegedly prepared an attack on Montenegrin citizens and the seizure of state institutions, were working for.
Furthermore, the weapons intended to be used for these criminal acts were not found, nor were any Montenegrin citizens connected to them.
As a reminder, 20 Serbian citizens, including former Gendarmerie chief Bratislav Dikić, were arrested on the night between Saturday and Sunday in Montenegro. They are suspected of committing the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization and the criminal offense of terrorism on the territory of Montenegro.
It is suspected that Dikić allegedly formed a group in Serbia and Montenegro in early October with a plan to attack gathered citizens in front of the Parliament of Montenegro and police officials, and then seize the premises of the Parliament and declare an election victory for certain political parties, in case DPS declared victory.
