Organization of the public New Year's Eve celebration and Dino Merlin's concert will cost 250,000 KM

Today, at a press conference in the Sarajevo City Hall, it was officially announced what had been speculated about in recent days - the biggest BiH music star Dino Merlin will perform in Sarajevo on New Year's Eve.

The Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Elmedin Konaković, Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka, and musician Dino Merlin attended today's presentation of plans for the organization of the New Year's Eve celebration in Sarajevo, Patria reports.

- I have the honor to perform in my favorite city on New Year's Eve for the first time in my 30-year career - said Merlin.

A big spectacle will take place on the craziest night on the Square of Bosnia and Herzegovina at Marijin Dvor, and the entire organization will cost close to 250,000 KM with VAT, it was announced today.

- The City of Sarajevo has decided that the New Year's Eve 2017 celebration will be held at a high level with content worthy of Sarajevo as the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina - stated the Deputy Mayor of the City of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka earlier.

The open-air New Year's Eve celebration in Sarajevo is traditionally organized by the City Administration of Sarajevo in cooperation with Sarajevo municipalities.

Also, a significantly larger number of tourists is expected in the City on the Miljacka than was the case in previous years.
