Indictment for Abuse of Croatian Prisoners in Kruščica near Vitez

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed an indictment against Mineta Akeljić, Šaban Haskić, Senad Bilal, Hazim Patković and Šemsudin Đelilović for crimes committed in the Vitez area, BIRN reported, as carried by Patria.

The indictment alleges that Akeljić, as commander of the Military Police of the First Battalion of the 325th Mountain Brigade of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH), and Haskić, Bilal, Patković and Đelilović, as members of the same Military Police unit, removed prisoners of Croatian nationality from the detention facility known as the “Black House” in Kruščica near Vitez and subjected them to physical and psychological abuse, NAP reports.
