The investigation in this case was initiated by the BiH Prosecutor's Office and SIPA, after learning that a person from the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an internet address registered in BiH, was accessing websites with radical terrorist content glorifying the structures of the so-called "ISIL", which has been declared a terrorist organization by the UN.

The aforementioned person was translating texts and content into the Bosnian language, as well as downloading content, photographs, and recordings of killings of soldiers, civilians, and children, and glorifying the structures of the so-called "ISIL" and their activities in Asia and Africa, making these contents available to a larger number of people with the aim of inciting individuals in BiH to commit terrorist activities.

Through further activities of law enforcement agencies, the suspect was identified and located in the area of Vitez.

The accused is charged with committing the criminal offense of Public Incitement to Terrorist Activities under Article 202a, in conjunction with Article 202d of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The investigation and expert examination determined that the perpetrator committed the criminal offense in a state of insanity caused by post-traumatic stress disorder, with comorbidities of severe depressive episodes, which is why, within the indictment, it is proposed to send the accused to an appropriate health institution.
