Indictment for Organized Crime against Mahović, Zemanić, Kondo, and Mišić

The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, after an intensive investigation and collection of sufficient evidence, has filed an indictment for organized crime against Mirza Mahović as the leader of the group, and its members Samir Kondo, Elvedin Zemanić, and Samir Mišić due to well-founded suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs from Article 238, Paragraph 2, in conjunction with Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was announced from the KS Prosecutor's Office, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- The accused Mirza Mahović (1986) is charged with organizing a group of people for the unauthorized purchase, possession, and sale of narcotic drugs from March 2014 until his arrest in the Sarajevo Canton area, with the aim of acquiring illegal property benefits, while Samir Kondo (1975), Elvedin Zemanić (1981), and Samir Mišić (1992) are charged with becoming members of an organized group of people for the unauthorized production, possession, and sale of narcotic drugs - the statement reads.

Elvedin Zemanić is also charged with the criminal offense of unauthorized possession of a firearm for which he did not have authorization from the competent authority under Article 52 of the Law on Unauthorized Possession of Weapons, and in relation to him, all in conjunction with Article 54 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

All accused were arrested in an operation codenamed "Glečer" (Glacier) carried out by police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), and at the proposal of the acting prosecutor, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo extended their pre-trial detention, which can last until January 3, 2015, or until a new court decision.
