Tax Evasion Suspects Plead Guilty, Return Money and Are Convicted

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Following the indictment and presentation of evidence, in the presence of their lawyers, the accused Milenko Mićić, born in 1977 in Bijeljina, a BiH citizen, and the legal entity limited liability company "MDM - PERIĆ PLUS" Bijeljina, have mutually pleaded guilty at the Court of BiH.

For the accused Mićić, a suspended sentence of 8 months imprisonment with a probation period of 2 years is proposed, along with a secondary penalty of a fine in the amount of 2,000 KM, which the accused is obliged to pay within 3 months from the date the verdict becomes final.

In accordance with the agreement, for the legal entity limited liability company "MDM - PERIĆ PLUS" Bijeljina, a secondary penalty of a fine in the amount of 5,000 KM and the confiscation of illegal property benefit in the amount of 29,750 KM are proposed, and the aforementioned amounts have been paid by the legal entity into the BiH budget account.

After considering the agreement, it was accepted and the accused were sentenced as stated.
