Director of SIPA Indicted, Attends RS Police Leadership Meeting in Pale!

Director of SIPA Goran Zubac, who has been indicted for dereliction of duty, is in Pale today where a meeting of the entire leadership of the RS police is being held, writes the Patria News Agency. 

SIPA claims that the entire organization is in the hands of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs, and that they do not know the exact topic of the meeting.

However, the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs claims that the topic is cooperation in the fight against organized crime. Incidentally, the meeting is being held at the Public Security Center East Sarajevo in Pale. The meeting is attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Radislav Jovičić, Police Director Gojko Vasić, heads of the police and criminal police administrations in the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs Darko Ćulum and Zoran Mandić, and the head of the Public Security Center East Sarajevo Radenko Vasiljević.

Representatives of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Republika Srpska, the Special Prosecutor's Office of Republika Srpska, and the District Prosecutor's Office of East Sarajevo will also talk with Zubac. 

And while Zubac is leading discussions on the fight against organized crime, an official confirmation from the Court of BiH regarding the indictment should be grounds for his suspension and dismissal. However, Žiko Krunić, chairman of the Independent Board of the BiH Parliament, is not inclined to schedule a session, which he confirmed in his statements, reports NAP.
