Optima and FDS Paid the Most Taxes to the State!

Optima Grupa from Banja Luka paid as much as 255.2 million KM to the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH (UIO BiH) last year, which is a record amount for 2013, bh. news agency Patria (NAP) has exclusively learned.

Immediately behind Optima, on the list of 20 companies that paid the most money into BiH's single account, published by NAP, is Fabrika duhana Sarajevo (FDS) with 226.4 million KM. These two companies paid by far the most taxes and excises to the state.

In third place is "BH Telecom" Sarajevo with 45.6 million KM, in fourth place "Telekomunikacije RS" 42.8 million, and "Elektroprivreda BiH" Sarajevo with 39.1 million KM.

"Elektroprivreda HZHB" paid 22.4 million KM for last year, followed by Elektroprijenos BiH with 17 million. Then come Hrvatske telekomunikacije, Coca Cola HBC B-H, Fabrika duvana. The Turkish company with a representative office in Sarajevo, CENGIZ INSAAT, paid 14 million KM.

Followed by Rudnici Kreka in the EP BiH concern, Banjalučka pivara, RiTE Ugljevik, etc.

On the other hand, NAP, for comparison, also publishes a facsimile of the same list from 2007.

While some companies paid the same or even higher VAT (FDS, BH Telecom, JP EP BiH, Coca Cola HBC B-H), others had significantly less for 2013 (Integral-inženjering, Energoinvest Sarajevo).
