Travel with caution, wet roads and frequent landslides

(Patria) - In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is on wet or damp roads, with increased vehicle frequency. BIHAMK warns of frequent rock and soil landslides onto the road, as well as reduced visibility due to fog and low cloud cover. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution, maintain a safe distance between vehicles, and avoid risky overtaking.

On the A-1 highway, due to bridge works on the Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi section, traffic is two-way, using the opposite lane from the work zone. Due to the reconstruction of the descending ramp of the Visoko interchange from the direction of Sarajevo and the connecting ramp from Visoko towards Zenica, traffic is slowed down, using one lane.

Works are underway in the Crnaja tunnel (Konjic-Jablanica), due to which traffic is carried out in one lane, with alternating passage of vehicles, between 8 PM and 5 AM.

On the Tuzla-Kalesija road (due to works in the Čaklovići tunnel), traffic is suspended from 10 PM to 6 AM and redirected to an alternative route via Dubrave. During the day, passenger vehicles from the direction of Tuzla travel through the tunnel, and from the direction of Kalesija, they use the bypass around the tunnel. Heavy goods vehicles are directed to the route via Dubrave even during the day.

Due to numerous landslides and the risk of mudslides on the main road Brod na Drini-GP Hum/Šćepan Polje, passenger vehicles are experiencing difficult travel, while traffic for heavy goods vehicles is suspended.

Traffic is slowed down due to works on the road sections: Srebrenik-Orašje, Doboj-Rudanka, and Stolac-Hutovo.

Waiting times at border crossings are short.

Due to Kurban Bajram, the transport of explosives is prohibited in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina today.
