Caution on the roads, wet road surface and many sections with ongoing works

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to numerous landslides and the risk of mudslides on the main road Brod na Drini-GP Hum/Šćepan Polje, passenger vehicles are experiencing difficult traffic.

Mostly wet or damp road surfaces and an increased risk of landslides characterize the traffic situation in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the zone of the Sarajevo Sjever toll booth (on the A-1 highway), essential works will be carried out today from 09:00 to 19:00, due to which traffic will be two-way (on one lane), according to BIHAMK.

Due to works in the Čaklovići tunnel on the Tuzla-Kalesija section (Simin Han-Caparde), traffic will be suspended from 22:00 to 06:00 and diverted to the alternative route via Dubrava. During the day, passenger vehicles from the direction of Tuzla will pass through the tunnel, and from the direction of Kalesija, they will use the bypass around the tunnel. Heavy goods vehicles are also directed to the route via Dubrava during the day.

Works are underway in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica section, where traffic alternates, one lane at a time, during the day, while traffic through the tunnel is suspended at night (23:00-04:30).

Among other roads with ongoing works, we highlight the roads: Ustikolina-Goražde (Ustikolina and Mravinjac bridges), Doboj-Rudanka, Tarčin-Konjic (Donja Raštelica), Stolac-Hutovo (village of Cerovica), Posušje-Tomislavgrad (village of Čitluk), and Banovići-Ribnica (at the exit from Banovići).

Due to numerous landslides and the risk of mudslides on the main road Brod na Drini-GP Hum/Šćepan Polje, passenger vehicles are experiencing difficult traffic, while traffic for heavy goods vehicles is suspended.

Currently, waiting times at border crossings do not exceed 30 minutes.

Drivers are advised to drive with maximum caution, regardless of weather and traffic conditions, and to maintain a safe distance between vehicles.
