Opposition from RS submits several hundred criminal charges to the BiH Prosecutor's Office for election theft

(Patria) - Presidents of the PDP, SDS, and the List for Justice and Order, Branislav Borenović, Mirko Šarović and Nebojša Vukanović, and the Vice President of the PDP and candidate for President of Republika Srpska in the previous elections, Jelena Trivić, will submit criminal charges to the BiH Prosecutor's Office against several hundred individuals for the criminal offense of election theft.

The CEC ex officio ordered a repeated control count of all ballots for the level of President/Vice President of the RS. The counting is still not completed, and by October 22 the CEC should determine the election results, and by November 2 confirm the results. We recall, on election night, Jelena Trivić first declared victory for the President of the RS, and a few hours after midnight, Milorad Dodik, President of the SNSD, also did. According to data published by the CEC, the difference was about 30,000 votes, and the opposition openly accused Dodik and the SNSD of election theft. Due to the large number of complaints and irregularities, the CEC reacted ex officio and decided on a new vote count.

The vote counting began on October 13 in the Main Counting Center, and at several polling stations deviations from official data were identified.

The BiH Prosecutor's Office previously distanced itself from criminal offenses related to the election process for the level of President/Vice President of the RS, shifting this to lower entity prosecutor's offices of BiH, although the General Elections in BiH are conducted under the Election Law of BiH.
