Mosque robbed in Teslić, thief previously known to police arrested

(Patria) - Eldin Horić (40) from Teslić was arrested yesterday in this local community on suspicion of robbing a mosque, "Nezavisne novine" has learned.

Horić is a known police contact, and was recently arrested on suspicion of committing three burglaries in Teslić shops in one night.

The Doboj Police Administration announced that the criminal offense of aggravated theft was solved thanks to a swift reaction.

"Police officers of the Teslić Police Station yesterday identified a person, E.H., from the area of Teslić, due to grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of aggravated theft. There are grounds for suspicion that this person, on the same day in the afternoon, broke into a religious building in the area of Teslić, during which a certain amount of money was stolen. After documenting the case, a report on the committed criminal offense will be submitted to the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Doboj against the said person," the police stated.
