(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today carried out the operational action "Lihvar" in the area of Gradačac, during which searches of residential buildings and movable property at one location were conducted.
Two individuals were arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Usury" as prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The arrested individuals were taken to SIPA premises for criminal processing and questioning as suspects.
During the search, a larger amount of money in various currencies, notary contracts, business documentation, and other items that may serve as evidence in criminal proceedings were discovered and temporarily confiscated.
The aforementioned activities were carried out by order of the Municipal Court in Gradačac and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton.
