Operation 'Eva': Searches at two locations due to illegal trade in excise goods

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency today, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of criminal offenses 'Illegal trade in excise products' and 'Illegal storage of goods' prescribed by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, carried out the operational action 'Eva' in the area of Šamac and Orašje, within which two locations were searched.

During the search, 280 kilograms of cut tobacco and one tobacco cutting machine were discovered and temporarily seized.

The aforementioned activities were carried out by verbal order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina and police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.
