Ilidža Municipality Council: Draft Budget of Ilidža Municipality for 2022 Adopted

(Patria) - The Ilidža Municipality Council session also considered and adopted the Decision on commencing the preparation of amendments and additions to the Regulatory Plan "Blažujski drum" - under an expedited procedure -, the construction of a residential and commercial building, at the location on Vreoca street, which was adopted.

Also, the Decision on amending the Decision on salaries and compensation of employment in Ilidža Municipality was adopted, which stipulates the harmonization of coefficients with the Law on Salaries and Compensation in the bodies of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e., the harmonization of coefficients determined for the position of municipal attorney and the position of deputy municipal attorney.

One member of the Ilidža Municipal Election Commission was appointed, and a member and president were dismissed due to the expiration of their mandate, and this will be sent to the Central Election Commission of BiH for approval.

For the first time in Ilidža Municipality, the Decision on providing support for housing young people by refunding the costs of paid real estate transfer tax or paid value added tax was adopted, which enables young people from the area of Ilidža Municipality.

One of the projects - programs of Ilidža Municipality in 2021 is assistance to young people in resolving housing issues, i.e., assistance in buying an apartment or house through the allocation of funds to young people from the area of Ilidža Municipality in the name of refunding paid real estate transfer tax or value added tax up to BAM 3,000.00. In this way, Ilidža Municipality strives to help young people and encourage the purchase of real estate in the area of Ilidža Municipality. This is another in a series of activities to make Ilidža Municipality a municipality that is youth-friendly.

The Municipal Council considered and adopted the Draft Budget of Ilidža Municipality for 2022 in the total amount of BAM 26,500,000.

Preparations for the drafting of the Draft Budget of Ilidža Municipality for 2022 are based on the Guidelines on the process of drafting the budget request of Ilidža Municipality, and the entire process is harmonized with the budget calendar established by the Law on Budgets in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In addition, during the drafting process of the Draft for 2022, a detailed analysis of all revenues and expenditures was carried out based on historical data, primarily data on the execution of the Budget for 2020 and 2021, including the estimates of the services responsible for their implementation regarding possible execution in 2022. The Draft Budget includes planned dedicated funds from the Canton for the transport of children, the Cantonal Ministry of Communal Economy and Infrastructure for the reconstruction of the water supply and sewerage network, as well as funds from citizens intended for co-financing capital activities.

The Draft for 2022 represents a good starting point for the successful implementation of the Public Debate process, and all citizens and other participants can contribute to the quality of the Draft Budget by providing their remarks, proposals, and suggestions, the implementation of which in its entirety will result in meeting the needs of as many citizens as possible and improving the environment and living and working conditions in the Municipality.

The Public Debate for the Draft Budget of Ilidža Municipality will be held from 29.10. to 15.11.2021.
