Ilidža Municipality Gifts Free Hari Mata Hari Concert at Stojčevac on June 25

(Patria) - The Ilidža Municipality is gifting all visitors to Stojčevac on June 25 a free concert by the band Hari Mata Hari, which will be part of a rich all-day entertainment program at the well-known Sarajevo picnic area.

The concert by the domestic and regional music star, scheduled to start at 8 PM, will be preceded by the humanitarian race Stojčevac 5K, which starts at 5 PM.

The renewed Stojčevac picnic area will be opened with a musical spectacle, as will the summer tourist season in Sarajevo.

- Since the beginning of the year, in cooperation with the Government of Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Transport of KS, the Ministry of Economy of KS, the KJU for Protected Areas Sarajevo, and other institutions, we have worked extensively on arranging Stojčevac. Now, through a humanitarian race and a concert, we want to bring this wonderful picnic area closer to the citizens of Ilidža, Sarajevo, and tourists visiting our municipality, city, and country again - said the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur.

The green oases of Ilidža have always been a special attraction for tourists, as confirmed by the numbers of overnight stays in Ilidža and visits to Vrelo Bosne.

With the revitalization of Stojčevac, the renovation of road infrastructure and public lighting, as well as the arrangement of green areas, the once-famous picnic area is getting closer to its pre-war splendor.

- We did not pay much attention to jurisdictions; we wanted to show that Stojčevac can be better, that Ilidža can be better. A lot of work has been done on this picnic area, and I am glad that citizens already recognize and appreciate it. I sincerely hope that those who have not yet visited the renovated Stojčevac will come on June 25 to enjoy the excellent atmosphere together. I invite those who like to run and exercise to participate in the humanitarian race Stojčevac 5K, for which they can register until June 17 - said Mayor Muzur.

A formal press conference will be held this week, where the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, and Hari Mata Hari will inform the public about all the details related to the concert scheduled for June 25 at Stojčevac.
