On the stage of the Sarajevo Culture Center (Jelića 1) on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, students from four elementary schools in Centar: ''Safvet-beg Bašagić'', ''Hasan Kikić'', ''Nafija Sarajlić'' and ''Hasan Kaimija'' watched a children's play ''Princess Earth, Earth-eaters and Knights'', reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The theatrical work was created based on the literary source of the same name by Sanela Rađo, which discusses ecology, waste recycling and the protection of Princess Earth. The dramatization of the book was done by Biljana Semiz-Krunić, and the play features Alisa Čajić, Ivana Vojnović, Sanjin Arnautović and Emir Fejzić, who is also the director of the play.
- After I received the invitation to direct the play, I found it interesting to explore some things that are not classical theater, and to try to explain to children in an appealing way what recycling is and how important it is to preserve nature. And then I came up with the idea to create a creative workshop that would turn into a play. When children come to the play, they first make costumes, draw the set, and then act in some parts of the play - said Fejzić.
For the realization of this project, the Centar Municipality provided 2,000 KM within the Operational Plan of Cultural Activities for 2015.
