Dangerous Story from the RS Ministry of Interior: Insurance Fraud Characterized as a Terrorist Attack

The RS Ministry of Interior seriously misled the public with claims that a severe terrorist attack was being prepared against the citizens of Janja near Bijeljina. The truth is that an insurance fraud was being prepared, but that Milorad Dodik's propagandists used this information and the fact that the arson of the Hotel “Dallas” had indeed been prepared to present the public with a serious lie about a terrorist attack.

The main protagonists of this false, but also very dangerous story, which did contribute to the rise of inter-ethnic tensions, are Dragan Lukač, the Minister of Interior of the RS, and Predrag Ćeranić, the head of the para-intelligence service infiltrated within the police structure of this entity.

On October 30 of this year, the RS Ministry of Interior announced that a terrorist attack had been prevented at the Hotel “Dallas” in the settlement of Janja near Bijeljina. 

The following day, on October 31, the RS Minister of Interior Dragan Lukač told "Glas Srpske" that the goal of the terrorist attack was to incite religious, national, and racial intolerance, given that Janja is predominantly populated by Bosniaks.

- About a hundred bottles filled with gasoline and gas cylinders were connected with sheets. Had that been set on fire, there would have been a large explosion with widespread consequences. The surrounding houses where Bosniaks live would have burned down, and relations in the RS and BiH would have been destabilized. Had this attempt at a terrorist act not been thwarted, there would have been inter-ethnic intolerance and instability - Lukač said.

In “Glas”, Predrag Ćeranić, the head of Dodik's private UDBA, also spoke, emphasizing that the police were extremely efficient, did a great job, and prevented enormous consequences.

A terrorist act in the currently complex political situation in BiH would have added fuel to the fire even if there were no human casualties. That part of Janja is populated by Bosniaks, so it is not difficult to imagine how the political situation would have been complicated in terms of endangering the safety of returnees. Everything undertaken by the RS Ministry of Interior is commendable - Ćeranić said.

The only ones who truly want to add fuel to the fire and endanger Bosniak-Serb relations in this case are precisely Lukač and Ćeranić. Gabrijela Petrović, the owner of “Dallas”, intended to set the hotel on fire in order to collect one and a half million euros from insurance. 

Petrović insured “Dallas” for that amount, while its real value is 150,000 euros. Had she succeeded in her intention, she would have defrauded the insurance company. This is not her first case, as she has already committed insurance fraud by staging the arson of her “Mercedes” vehicle. 

All of this was told to me in the RS Ministry of Interior.

“The RS Ministry of Interior had information about the preparation of the fraud 15 days before they allegedly uncovered a major terrorist conspiracy, but they did nothing. They only reacted after SIPA provided information that the fraud was being prepared. They completely falsely presented everything as preventing a terrorist attack, with the aim of promoting the Counter-Terrorism Directorate controlled by Ćeranić,” my sources from the top of the RS Ministry of Interior claim. 

They question whether the real intention was to allow the hotel to be set on fire, to make the “terrorist” threat more credible(?!) and point out that they only reacted after SIPA's tip-off. 

Ćeranić himself, the day after the “operation,” told “Glas” that “the Directorate for the Fight against Terrorism and Extremism justified the trust of Minister Lukač, who recently established it.”

Of course, Ćeranić's “UDBA men” took over the “investigation” and, interestingly, it is not being conducted by the competent Department for the Fight against Terrorism, but by the Prevention Department.

This case has also shown what dangerous deeds both Lukač and Ćeranić are ready to resort to, and how truly dangerous and prepared for anything this duo is. 

Ćeranić is officially Lukač's advisor. So far, the two have not managed to expose a single terrorist, and they have had several “successful” operations. They are only successful in terrorizing and frightening the public with their insane “operations” and fabrications.
