Dangerous report: Did the CIA torture suspects of the September 11 attacks?

This week, a report is set to be published that should reveal whether the CIA tortured prisoners believed to be Islamic terrorists, while foreign governments and U.S. citizens fear that this could incite "violence and killings," writes Fox News, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The publication of this report, according to a Republican from Michigan, could serve as a pretext for Islamist groups to carry out further violent attacks.

The study conducted on this topic is 6,000 pages long, and the expected report will be a summary of 480 pages.

Some U.S. officials warn that this report could trigger violence and death worldwide.

Although the Obama administration claims it has no objection to the report's release, Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday asked Senator Dianne Feinstein, who chairs the relevant Senate committee, to consider the timing of its publication.

The report concerns al-Qaeda prisoners allegedly held by the CIA at secret locations in Europe and Asia following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Officials who reportedly read it say it provides new details about the techniques the CIA used in interrogating suspects, including sleep deprivation, confinement in very small spaces, humiliation, and waterboarding—a method that simulates drowning.

Barack Obama has previously admitted that "some people were tortured," but the Department of Justice at the time found nothing objectionable in the CIA's actions.
